We met at the University of Guelph, where a mutual friend made the introduction. Tavleen boldly made the first move and reached out to Harpreet, sparking a friendship that grew stronger with time before turning into something more.
Brampton & Windsor
After university, we found ourselves in that in-between stage of life - figuring things out while living at home with our families amidst a global pandemic. Tavleen in Brampton, and Harpreet in Windsor, both chasing new goals and experiences. Soon after, Tavleen left to pursue her master’s, which took her to Singapore and London, while Harpreet made his way to San Francisco to begin his career.
San Francisco - Singapore - London - Toronto - Bermuda
Over the next few years, we learned the true meaning of long distance - navigating time zones, career changes, and countless FaceTime calls. Whenever we could, we found ways to meet - celebrating birthdays, career milestones, and graduations in places that now hold special meaning. From London to San Francisco, France to Egypt, Toronto to Petra, our meeting points spanned continents. Every reunion was a reminder that no matter how far apart life took us, we always found our way back to each other.
